Ned Boulting is best known as the presenter of ITV’s coverage of the Tour de France, but to date has an illustrious television career. Starting out on Sky’s Soccer Saturday in 1997, Ned soon became a full-time reporter. Before long he moved to ITV where he discovered the unfathomable complexity of road racing after being invited to report on the 2003 Tour de France. Ned has spent the last 14 years covering the Tour de France and charting cycling’s boom years that surrounded London 2012 and the 2014 Grand Depart in Yorkshire and the South East. More recently, Ned’s Bikeology tour, a mixture of comedy, theatrics and discussion, has entertained audiences across the UK recounting the trails and tribulations of the everyday cyclist.
