Mark Beaumont making R.White’s Penny Farthing 1 Hour World Record Attempt

What can you do in 60 mins? ;)

Time and tide wait for no man. What can you get done in 60 minutes?

The Current World Record for the 1 Hour Penny Farthing was set by WA Rowe at Hampden Park, Massachusetts in October 1886 at  22 miles and 150 yards. The current English Record was set by BW Attlee at Herne Hill, London in September 1891 at 21 miles and 180 yards.

On June 15 2018, Mark Beaumont will be attempting to beat this and become the new world record holder.
