Obree to Celebrate 25th anniversary of World Record

2018 is the 25th anniversary of Graeme Obree’s successful attempt at breaking the world hour record on his famous Old Faithful bike and to commemorate this anniversary we are delighted to announce that Graeme will be riding at the World Cycling Revival.

David Millar to host huge-prize Brompton ’48 Invitational at the World Cycling Revival

It is difficult, in 2018, to complete a morning commute in a large city without seeing at least one of their famous folding bikes. The Brompton is well-versed in urban transit and office manners but has seldom had chance to prove itself on the track. Until now.

The grandest one-off track event taking place at the World Cycling Revival will be the Brompton ’48 Invitational, a unique opportunity to see the famous city-favourites go head to head on the Herne Hill track. Led by ex-pro cyclist David Millar and friends, riders will be invited to compete in an elimination-style race for a staggering £10,048 prize money.
